Such is the often whimsical nature of morality. It varies with geography, culture, and blood-sugar level. It's a non-valid basis for behavior or decisions.
Some people who supported Palestinian freedom for the past 14 months seem upset about Syrians getting freedom from a dictator.
And a lot of people who spent the past 14 months opposing Palestinian freedom are now cheering Syrians getting freedom.

I once wore the same pair of pants for weeks when I worked in a wood-working shop. They wound up with so much polyurethane, paint, and glue in them that they eventually just shattered.
