100%. The line also always makes me think of my grandpa. He was a quiet and gentle man but I sure did know that he couldn’t stand bullies.

I feel like people like Klein ignore that any human society is going to have social shame and cultural pressure. The question is more what behavior will earn those responses

It feels like the interest in megadungeons is an interest in capturing some the experience and spirit of those early games. The possibility of advancing all levels of characters and being where they adventures all the time (if they wanted) is something key to places like Blackmoor and Greyhawk did

I feel like the spirit of a megadungeon is to deliver an experience in the spirit of the early tentpoles. I used to think only stuff the size of likes of Stonehell or Arden Vul could do that. After having read Tonisberh and its approach, a smaller room count can deliver that with the right approach

I have have come around to it not being a certain number of rooms. What is important is that it is a space capable of advancing a character from a new character to retirement/change in mode of play solely on its own. If a new site or a need to continue advancement, the space was not mega

I can relate. I am miserable when trying to do an assignment for someone else. That feeling Carrie’s over into the work and I end up with terrible quality illustrations, too

I would avoid looking at stuff like Critical Role for how to approach regular table play. It is a different thing, meant to entertain spectators rather than the people playing the game, and is done by professional actors acting (or D20 with professional improvers improving)
