24 years ago, in the days after 9/11 I remember leftists screaming that any civil liberty we gave up for anyone “because terrorism” would be used broadly against the left in years to come.
At the time it felt hyperbolic.

The left making good the enemy of perfect and demanding absolute purity in their candidates (no such candidate exists, or if they did they'd be fucking insufferable) is enervating and infuriating. This is the result.
Here's an example of a fascist calling for ethnic cleansing of an indigenous population & of corporate media whitewashing & normalizing the fascist idea.
