Where does one find these budget Chinese pedals? I'm thinking of dipping my toes in electric guitar world so I don't wanna commit to much money to see if it's for me.

Are you sure you're replying to the right person? This skeet doesn't make any sense

What really gets me is that none of these characters are on permanent medications, have mobility aids, need regular medical procedures or anything. All they need is like food, water and shelter. This is just camping with PTSD.

Tell me you've never tried to get a cop to give shit about you being raped without actually saying that. Idk why you feel the need to defend a millionaire with an army of lawyers but you sound like a brain-dead American asshole. Go stick your dick in a blender.

Because Amanda is blocking the investigation because her actions make her an accomplice. Did you even read the article? The words underneath the headline talk about the network of people and the social structures that have protected and enabled Neil's behaviour for like 20 years.

The article itself says that NZ police would only investigate with Amanda's help, and she refused.

It is the responsibility of the person with more power to actively resist exploiting it and exploiting other people with less power. If you even find yourself doing something that might make you famous, you NEED to be aware of these power structures.

Predators get into the arts because it gives them access to abuse more people with fewer repercussions because of the power AND normal people get into the arts and become predators because power corrupts. Both are true, and they feed into each other. And in the end, the reason doesn't matter.

You have to actively recognize this and actively resist it, because it is a siren song that can and will turn good people bad. And for some people, not only do they not care to resist it, giving into it is PART OF THE APPEAL of being famous, often more than making the thing they're famous for.

Fame is very much like money in that having more and more of it will eventually corrupt you. It turns you into a Jekyll and Hyde, person and Brand. The real person atrophies as The Brand becomes bigger. The real person stops developing, regressing even, as the Brand hoards the mental resources.

Having read the article I can say that is a very good decision. I'm sure there will be more written about this in the near future that doesn't include the graphic details.
