RIP Brent Hinds. A year ago I caught Mastodon playing all of Leviathan live. Now that Brent is gone, it hits different. Don't wait to see the bands you love – those moments become irreplaceable.

Bucket list item for me this weekend: Attending the Indy Car race at the Laguna Seca Raceway with the famous 'corkscrew' turn!

Absolutely amazing weather, fast cars, family. Rooting for Pato O'ward (Indycar) and Myles Rowe (Indy NXT), but really just here to have fun!

Our internet usage at home jumped 40% this month!

We determined was the new hummingbird cam we got for mother's day! Yes, that many hummingbirds! Mainly Broad-billed, Costa's Anna's.

Waiting for the Mexican long-tongued bats to show up so we can snap a pic.

We said congratulations & goodbye to two wonderful undergrads last week! Makaela who was with us for 3 years, and Tu for just over a year. They made huge contributions to our research during their time with us and we're super grateful to have worked with them! Can't wait to see what's next!

Had an amazing time in Dallas this weekend! JFK museum was fabulous, as was the BBQ. But the real winner was the Deftones concert!

The electrolysis was a bit slow because of the overcurrent setting on gel power supply.

Here’s the finished, seasoned pan. I forgot a before pic, but none of the wording on the bottom was legible because of more than a decade of use. #Griswold for the win! Now on to all my other pans.
