I found a SNES Classic for cheap on Facebook, immediately extracted the games and put them into Retroarch on my iPad so I can get those Retro Achievements.

I bought an original GBA because it’s nice playing games on a device that isn’t blasting a light into my eyes, but I also loaded up Yoshi’s Island on Delta Emulator and it’s very pretty and sharp.

I know the post office works hard but there’s no way a package that was in Arizona yesterday is making it to me in SD today. This is also not the first time this has happened. I don’t know if it’s cutbacks or someone fibbing but something is fishy.

I love how the first-model GBA screen looks in direct sunlight. The colors have this deep saturation you don’t get with the backlight screens.

I repurposed an old Android phone as a dedicated music player with a 400gb micro sd card and a good inexpensive pair of IEMs, and I love it. Especially since music like this classic isn’t on streaming.

One of the advantages of physical media; Garth Brooks can pretend this double-platinum album doesn’t exist all he wants, but he’s gonna have to come take the CD out of my hands.

I defended Marvel’s Avengers when it was supported and I probably will forever. They supported that game with like 12 characters and more than doubled the amount of content, for free, with a top notch voice cast. Arguably better MODOK and Taskmaster than the MCU too.

Too many people counted this one out without actually playing it because SE made them tack on GAAS stuff, but they added free content onto a 12-hour game for two years. For a diehard fan, I was in heaven.
