We are so proud of Clinical Psychology PhD Student Bianca Braun, appointed Dean’s Fellow entering the 2025-2026 academic year.

Thanks to an award from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Bianca will be able to utilize the Dean’s Fellowship on a deferred basis starting in Fall 2028.

Safety & Security
Simple & Straightforward Language
Supervision
Structure
Social Support
Self-care

Caregivers: look out for these behaviors. In many cases, these behaviors can be normative— especially after major life-changing events. However, if you notice your child displaying these behaviors for over a month, you may want to consider reaching out to a trauma or grief-informed therapist for support. Younger children (6-11): excessive clinginess and separation anxiety. behavioral regression like sleep issues, eating, toileting. Behavioral outbursts and tantrums. Excessive fearfulness and crying. Older youth (12-18): social withdrawal. Aggression. Risk-taking behaviors. Expression of suicidal ideation. Resources are available. If you or a loved one has been affected by the recent tragedies in Texas, we at CAMAT would like to assure you that support is available.
