You may have heard or read this poem from Pastor Martin Niemöller. He initially supported Nazi regime & voted for the new government led by Hitler in 1933. Niemöller, a Protestant pastor was eventually arrested in 1937 & imprisoned in a concentration camp for 8 years.

25% of Walmart’s profits come from SNAP & most of Walmart’s workers are paid so little they qualify for & receive SNAP benefits. I keep thinking about this statistic (heard 11/12 on Democracy Now!) This is such an open grift by a massive corp. In a functioning democracy, this would never be allowed.
