One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

Seen on my daily walk. There's been construction at this corner for a bit, but they had the big boys out today.

Trash is a universal subject matter, like food or clouds. It's also temporary and unceasing at the same time; a great river flowing through all of our lives practically unnoticed, buried as deep as we can manage.

Our dog is doing physical therapy, and the photos they’re sending us make him look like a Far Side character.

Another small study from earlier this week. Been pretty busy lately but I'm making it a point to paint something small every night.

A terrorist targeted federal workers last week. There wasn’t much reporting on it. But I’m not finished thinking about it! 🧵

An anti-vaxxer fired more than 500 gunshots into CDC Atlanta, shattering 150 “blast-proof” windows on 6 buildings. Employees were pinned down in terror.

"'I think me and David Fincher are the two best directors. So the idea that David Fincher actually wants to adapt my work, to me, shows a level of seriousness towards my work that I think needs to be taken into account,' he explained."

I'm a fan of both directors' work, but holy shit. 🙄

The transgender hate spewing from Mike Johnson and Nancy Mace is abhorrent. Notice how asymmetrical it is, too. They only target male-to-female trans persons. They are (apparently) deathly afraid of someone going to the bathroom. As if transitioning is a gimmick to allow men to spy on women.

I started painting tagged vans from my neighborhood earlier this year. I find them to be a fascinating subject matter. This was the first, found a couple blocks away.
