Thanks put it on my to read list! Heavy books are usually the most compelling for sure. The bean trees made me cry when I was a kid but it still sticks with me.

PKD is one of my favorites he has such a different approach to sci-fi and a lot of his works have been turned into movies and tv shows

My favorite book this month was Dr sleep by Stephen King. I’ve watched the movie but there is just so much more in the book. I was captivated from start to finish.

Light from uncommon stars by Ryka Aoki was a different perspective that I read this month. This is how you lose the time war may be considered flowery it was a style of writing that took a sec to get used to, I found the book moving.

Have you tried any Philip k Dick? Do androids dream of electric sheep was adapted into the movie blade runner.
Ubik, flow my tears, and the 3 stigmata of Palmer Elderitch are my favs.
Also Ray Bradbury Martian chronicles.
