One arrest made, multiple victims one step closer to justice...

It’s a cracking reminder that when the Met are given the space to focus on their job—fighting crime and catching criminals—they deliver results. Credit where it’s due: outstanding work all round.

After multiple robberies across Hackney and Islington, the Met’s robbery patrol team was already on high alert. When this suspect was spotted, officers didn’t hesitate. With support from the police helicopter, the chase was on, and the thief’s attempt to escape was brought to a swift end.

While details remain scarce, we’re sure everyone involved is questioning their life choices—and possibly their driving test results. In the meantime, perhaps Greggs and Krispy Kreme in the area could brace for impact tomorrow?
