I'm not sure if 2 cops patrolling the same area would have been targeted similarly or not. But positioning the NG there 100% led to them being shot. There is no excuse for this regardless of "which side" perpetrated it. These are fellow Americans and your neighbors.

She technically met your request! And yeah, people interpret things all sorts of weird ways. I asked for a simple spreadsheet of some monthly expenses once. Got a reply that it'd take months to prepare. That was a fun follow-up conversation.

Yes. Defending yourself is good. Hurting people otherwise is bad. It really is that simple. Or at least I wish it were for more people.

you might want something smaller like a baton or club. A bat might be hard to swing in some areas. I'd avoid pepper spray indoors...

Love it when my players give me opportunities to further develop throw-away bits that i just put in for a little flavor. They help develop the world themselves!

I enjoy thinking up names. I don't use generators, but I do make a list of some common names for the area. Usually built around a profession or something environmental (forests, mountain things) and a simple two-syllable first name. Cut up existing names and mash'em together works too.

one of the reasons I left their IT shop. It was a solution looking for a problem and had a zealous group of newcomers supporting it.
