Due to the Israeli blockade and the destruction of large areas of agricultural land, diseases are spreading among livestock in Gaza, as herders are forced to feed their cattle and sheep from garbage dumps after losing access to pastures and with feed no longer available.

<div class="field field-field-text"><p data-end="379" data-start="245">Israeli settlers set fire to olive trees and stole farming equipment in Atara, north of Ramallah, on Monday, reported the Palestinian news agency Wafa.</p>
<p data-end="622" data-start="381">Residents told Wafa that the settlers raided agricultural land near a recently established outpost, in the occupied West Bank, burning trees and damaging citizens’ property. They also confiscated farming tools and wood belonging to Jawad Sarhanah before withdrawing.</p>
<p data-end="952" data-start="624">According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israel and its settlers carried out 2,350 attacks across the occupied West Bank in October alone.</p>
<p data-end="952" data-start="624">The report detailed 1,584 attacks by the Israeli army and 766 by settlers, with the highest concentration in Ramallah and Al-Bireh (542), Nablus (412) and Hebron (401).</p>
<p data-end="1120" data-is-last-node data-is-only-node data-start="954">Palestinians describe these assaults as part of a persistent campaign of violence and land seizure by the occupying state against their people, homes and livelihoods.</p>

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Israeli forces have threatened a major attack on southern Lebanon, issuing an "urgent warning" for residents to stay away from Hezbollah “terrorist infrastructure”.</p>
<p>Military spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a statement that the army "will attack Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure throughout southern Lebanon to counter Hezbollah’s prohibited attempts to rebuild its activities in the area".</p>
<p>Israel has launched near-daily attacks on Lebanon since a ceasefire came into effect in November 2024.</p>
