It's great, you should go. We saw the Phillies in London and were there afterwards. Multiple locations, the one under Waterloo station is the coolest IMO.

There still has to be some way to control costs. Single payer systems still deny certain treatments or services, it's just a state bureaucrat instead of a corporate bureaucrat making the decision. Treatment may also be rationed through waiting times or reduced availability. No magic bullet here.
