I think it is lack of time and resources. My team in higher ed is stretched thin and overworked. Leadership drags it's feet about approving fresh content. So I often resort to pre-approved content to make things smoother and reduce stress.

At first I thought it was weird. But everytime anyone finds out I work at the university, they always ask if I know some other random person they know who also works at the university. People just like finding connections I think.
