Thor: The Dark World is a mid movie at best, but it is made better because it's part of learning about the infinity stones.
But...I think that's basically only an example that works sporadically and no movie should rely on being part of a larger narrative. The examples are there tho.

I have a dog. Obviously the general caveat is: because of certain limits- I decide to drive far distances regularly. The question is: What is the fastest way to accomplish that based on limitations.

This is the actual most likely outcome. I can't afford any new car but renting a long-range EV and doing a more regional road trip would be an awesome real-world test.

Someone else mentioned checking the math on renting a hybrid for 2-4 weeks of the year for road trips and comparing that to the benefit of daily EV driving.
While I haven't actually done the math yet- it seems like a viable option as daily city driving with EV is sweet.

The ICE car I have has 300-350 miles of range and I find that limiting. If I'm buying something new I want greater range like with a hybrid.
But really what it boils down to is I never want to think about it (refuel). The best solution might be get EV for daily and rent a hybrid as needed.
