Hoping gameplay will someday actually become a focus of the FFXIV devs again so I don't want to jam a screwdriver through my eyes just not to fall asleep during a fight because the jobs don't have any gameplay identity anymore and play largely the same 1-2-3 without any nuance

Not to be dramatic, but it's honestly real depressing how we got from Heavensward's class design to the joke current #FFXIV is. They keep taking every little bit of management away, the classes keep getting more and more homogenized. Why even have different jobs at this point?
