Hated it when I first saw it on tv as a kid. Why? Cause I’d read it first, the edition you see below, and was furious that Ladd dressed in buckskins like a hayseed instead of like the badass on the book cover. Lol. But saw it in a rep theater as an adult and fell in love with it. Great western.
