If it helps, gather a group of friends together, figure out what you all care about the most, and assign everyone two things to follow so you can keep each other up to date. Try to make it local friends so you can meet in person and begin building mutual aid networks.

Report to friends and family about it and share information. Make sure you follow up as events unfold but not in a “breaking news” way. Information takes time to process and by constantly shoving information into our feds, they hope we become too dazed and confused to pay attention and organize.
