Here’s my hope. Because he works with the EU he will get a better deal than today. It will be recognised as such. Subsequently it’s obvious that it’s nowhere as good as being part of Europe and therefore gives the opportunity to adopt the reversal of Brexit as policy for 2029.

Referendums are usually for long term decisions. They should thus have a higher threshold for success, somewhere above 60% would be my view

Typically that’s not what drives the gap. The biggest issue is the lack of women in higher paying jobs which, in my view, is a toxic mix of misogyny and social bias. However it is pleasing for example to see the number of women studying STEM at Uni. Need to see this convert in the job market

The one thing that keeps coming back to me on this is how is the business that recruits a PA doing a risk assessment on their role and, given the role seems so hard to pin down, how are business insurers regarding this re-negligence risk etc
