I haven't blown through a 200 page book this fast in a long time. Then again, a lot of that is bc LNs are much sparser on text... Still, I had fun finally getting this series started.

Another Bong Joon-ho banger. Mickey has an absolutely horrible few years and, at the end of it all, learns that it's okay for him to be happy too. There are some moments when I wondered if Nausicaä helped inspire it

This game has ambition written all over it, and I really hope the full game delivers because it's got the potential to be overwhelmingly kino. I like the characters, scenario, and the music is spectacular! It's kind of Danganronpa 4, tbh.

Not as bad as I remembered, but still definitely the low point compared to what's before and after it. There's some good character writing/moments, especially for Kirito and Suguha, and as much as I dislike Asuna needing to be rescued-

SAO is so good when you don't have an anituber in your ear saying it's bad. Jokes aside, it's an average to good show that immediately wastes its own potential. Still, I think it gets a lot of unfair hate, and there are things to like here.

I’m still trying to process what I just finished. What scenes are “real”? How much is recontextualized by the end? Pretty much everything. But it was enrapturing, as much as I love shows with action, slower and more cerebral shows scratch a specific itch

Finished in one sitting, I loved it! The narrator's contentment with isolation turning to curiosity with pleasure and exchanging money, to the conflict with his wife and breakdown on the department store roof, was riveting to read. I'm gonna reread it at some point.

Maybe, sometime this year, it's time for a replay of the entire series
