Also broke my rule of not trying something for the first time on show day but I ordered a mane roll for the clydes months ago and was itching to try it out. Totally learned how much I need to go for smaller braids but with some assistance and practice I think I can get that proper show draft look.

Her canter scares me but I love this lil gray mare, such a fun character even with doing the most sitting trot of my life

I'll be continuing for the fall semester, though I've felt off on my riding goals all year since being laid off in 2024. Career stress really interferes with my riding each week but this week I made tiny goals which worked well:
- learn how to put on + remove martingale
- get used to Tag at a trot

I only ever got to drive a mini in single on a tiny little cart for a clinic but doing an actual team driving clinic is real high up on my list of wants
