Does having your brain licked mean you're being brainwashed?

Even if it was cub, it doesn't resemble a real child in any meaningful way. Most people attracted to real children wouldn't be attracted to it, and vice versa.

It's worse when the place you find you belong in suddenly changes the very thing about it that lets you feel like you belong.. And you no longer have a place you feel at home in.

... I'll admit, I'm a bit sleep deprived and that sorta went off on a tangent, especially at the end. Maybe I shouldn't ramble endlessly on social media when tired.

… a tangible difference to someone else's life; created a treasured memory for someone else.

Remember that, and remember that's the case for even those bullying you and others, and maybe the world won't seem quite as cruel and hopeless.

… less broken overall (and probably able to get myself to put more serious effort into getting a job) if I hadn't been bullied so much for so long.

Just always remember that no matter what, someone out there loves you, even if they can't remember who you are or how to find you. Everyone's made (c)

Then years later, after some other experience or self reflection, they realize the damage that was done to them, or that they inflicted upon others and they regret it.

I guess on one hand I'm still more resilient to such harassment than most people.. But on the other hand, I'd be (c)

Point is, I think some people don't realize how damaging bullying is, because maybe they endured some bullying themselves in the past, and they don't think it affected them. Or they bullied others and didn't notice a major difference in how they behaved, so they assumed the bullying didn't have (c)

… those online communities I had lost.

It took me a while to realize I was reverting to my childhood behavior of reclusing and ignoring, and that the years of bullying HAD affected me. It's something I'm still struggling with, but getting better at.. Though occasionally overcompensating.

… kinda just.. Got used to it. For the longest time I thought I was immune to bullying and harassment online.

Then shit went down in the online communities I felt most at home in, and literally overnight no longer had an online 'home'.. And I became a nervous wreck when it came to talking about (c)

When I was growing up in the 1990s and 2000s, I was one of the most picked-on kids at school. I suspect it was due to subtle signs of autism that were too subtle to get me put in the 'special kids' classes, but apparent enough to put a target on me.

But since I had a mostly stable home life, I (c)

Given he's not barefoot, I assume you're the one walking into hell?

Just wait until you get paid to make macro Falco art; that's when you'll know you've made it.

I guess that'll be the web host for the Recursion comic? It's giving a 504 Gateway Time-out page.

OH. It's the feet of the larger penguin behind it.

I'm dumb.

Does that penguin have hands?

Muscle memory couldn't be transferred either, because of the very (c)

They would (c)

I've thought about this a lot. I have a character who, when they die or retire, their memories get sent to another copy of themselves in another Universe to keep doing their job. They have both sets of memories, from their other selves, and from growing up normally.

So what if one time those (c)

"There aren't any stupid questions!"
"That's just dodging my question."
"Forget it, this is stupid!"
"So there ARE stupid questions! Why is that?"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

"Don't be silly, there are no stupid questions."
"Are you saying my question is stupid?"
"Well... I mean..."
"So why are there stupid questions?"
"... Because you created one."
"Is that unusual?"
"Yes."
"Does that mean it's a smart question?"
"Sure, yes."
"So it's not a stupid question."
"Uh..."

I actually wasn't sure if it was Bishop speaking in that last panel, as it could have also been Mr. Verres.
