My pallet is obviously primed and refined but it’s a perfectly satisfying sequel that surprised me (a lot) with its nostalgia-bait Marvel-y infusion but I kept wondering throughout what, exactly, I’m supposed to have a problem with. Even Jared Leto’s Ares is a charming character by the end.
