I needed recommendations to replace my clothes dryer. Also, I am a video game composer/sound designer (I also just started my own indie game studio.)
It's always scary (at least to me) to put work out in the open like this, especially something that's very much a work-in-progress. But I really think it's time to start pulling back the curtain (at least a little bit) and to start talking to people about the weird game we're trying to make!
Sneak peek at prototype snippets? 👀 Here are some demo clips of the prototype build that we submitted to GDC's Experimental Games Showcase!

The best games of 2025 give a glimpse into a better world — where artists can invite audiences into their memoirs, where AAAs are thematically ambitious and small teams can sculpt epics.

This is also my 100th(!!) proper video on YouTube, a milestone seven years in the making

3D printing really let's me make then break then fix then break then fix then break then hack together a patch then call it good enough.

Hot take (not serious): Valve's Steam Machine is "underpowered" on purpose in order to dissuade players from buying AAA and to encourage the purchase of indie games.

HL3 will run great on the steam machine, since they managed to get Portal 2 to run better than FEZ on my first crappy laptop.

Typing prompts into "Agentic AI" replaces pesky GUI that you don't want to click through which replaces that scary terminal that you didn't want to type commands in.

AI companies are trying to convince their users that typing into a text box that is makes shit up is better than one that doesn't???

Many times over the past years, I seriously considered purchasing the Meta Quest 3 as an upgrade to my HTC Vive, to the point of putting it into my online shopping cart, and every time I could not bring myself to purchase one due to the privacy concerns I had of wearing a Meta product on my face...

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.

A lot of people will sing the praises of "This was a triumph" and "Want you gone" in the Portal games' soundtracks (and rightfully so), but can we take a sec to appreciate the rest of the music in the games as well? It all oozes with unbridled creativity.

Yo @developers.google.com did you pick up a couple copy of Venba?

We're just a teeny indie team and our art was pretty distinctive and this looks eerily similar

Anyways in good faith, the game is on all platforms, credits easily accessible, link below

Society accepts eating mashed potatoes as a side but guacamole is regulated to being a dip and that really illustrates how unfair the universe can be.

I remember when I was in high school, and kept dying in Fez because it was running at 12 frames per second on my Toshiba laptop. Back then I wished there was a way to plug a GPU into it for more performance.

Sleight of hand magician does the trick where they take an unsuspecting participant's watch, but the participant is actually another sleight of hand magician, and he sneakily puts another watch on. This goes on as the first magician keeps taking watch after watch but the participant always has more.

When I play a video game for an extended period of time before sleeping it influences what my dreams look/feel like. Pulled a late night of playing Receiver 2 (which tbf has a lot of metacognition dreamstate themes) and then more or less dreamt the game that night. Anyone else like this?

I'm thinking about the time I was at the Paul Revere's house in Boston and asking the historian about the fork with 2 tines on the dinner table and seeing them light up because they probably don't get that question often and they had fun and interesting info about the Revere family's 2 tine fork.
