One of the best things of watching games in person is when a player vigorously signals to challenge, the coach looks at his review guy, and the review guy grimaces and shakes his head.

PJ Washington and Julius Randle do not seem to enjoy each other's company. Been pretty chippy between the two all night.
November 18, 2025 at 2:04 AM
This Mavs' offense is a tougher watch in person. Everyone is just doing their own thing with a lot of over dribbling and shot hunting.
November 18, 2025 at 1:54 AM
The amount of havoc and chaos that Jaylen Clark generates with his on ball defense is so much fun. He really deserves to be in those conversations with the elite perimeter on-ball defenders in the league.

Covering Timberwolves vs Mavericks tonight for @noceilingsnba.bsky.social. Very excited to see Flagg in person in the NBA for the first time. Will have plenty of takeaways in my scouting files later this week.

I was a little skeptical on how Darius Adams’ rim pressure would translate to college, but he’s been a lot of fun. He’s just so crafty, composed, has great balance, and is relentless. Fun game for him today against Marquette.

Really nice game from Mikel Brown today creating out of the PNR, getting paint touches, and playing simple. Have enjoyed his decision making and passing vision.

Morez Johnson was huge for Michigan down the stretch last night. Not sure they pull off that win without him. Needs to work on the DEF discipline but his DEF versatility, rebounding on both ends, interior finishing, and cutting constantly bailed them out.

When Meleek Thomas plays simple and decisive good things tend to happen.

Heck of a start for Coen Carr. Showing he's more than just an athlete.
November 9, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Juke Harris 👀

Really fun tools, versatile off-ball scorer, and off to an insanely hot start. Excited to keep an eye on his season goes. Wake Forest could be sneaky fun this year.

Sign me up for this version of Dailyn Swain all season please. He's been really impressive from the start.
November 5, 2025 at 3:41 AM
Tough first half for Cam Boozer. The DEF has been great but Texas is doing a great job of defending him. A lot of my nitpicks with his shot creation popping up as Texas defenders are doing a good job of battling with his physicality and Boozer doesn't have a counter outside of lowering his shoulder.
November 5, 2025 at 2:58 AM
That back cut by Evans is set up because of his shooting gravity. He moves so well without the ball and does a terrific job of recognizing how his defender is guarding him.

Isaiah Evans: your favorite shooter's favorite shooter
November 5, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Dailyn Swain with not only multiple 3PT attempts but makes in the the first 8 minutes!?!? Sign me up, he's looking really confident and aggressive.
November 5, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Dame Sarr is a blast. Tough not to buy in. Really encouraging how much better his shot looks than just a few months ago. Also helps that it looks like he's shot out of a cannon in the open court.
November 5, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Fun first game for Nolan Minessale with St. Thomas against a good Saint Mary's team. Minessale got to the rim whenever he wanted, showcased some fun passing flashes, consistently finished at the rim, and the shot off the catch looked much more comfortable than last year.
