This is easily the best in-show movie promotion I’ve ever seen. Having time travel shenanigans happening in the background of a regular Den-O episode and Ryotaro being occasionally kidnapped “for the climax scene” only to return with no memories is hilarious.

Neck down his suit is minimalist, black with silver lines denoting ribs. Neck up, holy shit! Skull’s helmet IS a skull, it’s perfectly terrifying alone, then he accessorizes with a tattered scarf and fedora and all of a sudden he’s intriguing.

Buffa is one of the main reasons I included zombies on this list. Sure other Geats Riders have used the Zombie Buckle, but none of them look as good as Buffa. The ribcage, the subtle lines on the chinstrap that evoke a skull, really incredible stuff.

I remember when Dread appeared in Gotchard and I thought ‘this changes EVERYTHING!’ And while I was wrong I still love the suit. The orange and red burning behind the metallic blue bones, the horned skull helmet, that scarf!!

Saber’s Primitive Dragon Form is based on Dragon Bones and that’s just cool. The light blue tint doesn’t exactly feel like the right choice but I love the skeletal claw across his chest.

Ok…This guy has no bones. BUT! Those glowing red lines are meant to be blood vessels and that’s still spooky body horror. Plus his theming is the extinction of the human race so I think he’s zombie-ish too. Ironically enough Eden still gets 2/5 Bones 🦴 🦴 and 1 Blood🩸

Now this guys got some bones! He’s got a sick sword, metallic ribs, and bones going up his arms and legs! Hell yeah! The helmet and name are what brings him down. I get why he’s called Fifteen but it’s still a lame name and the helmet has too much going on.

A Pirate/Train/Ghost/Skeleton Rider? Hell yeah on the concept! Meh on the execution. I like the skull right on his forehead and the train track scarf is awesome, but it’s also clearly a repaint of Gaoh and there’s still not enough bones!

Lucifer has an incredible henshin sequence where a giant skeleton pops out of the ground and chomps on his head, but that’s the most you’ll see of bones on this guy. There are lines that are meant to evoke ribs/teeth but it doesn’t do a great job.

The Kamen Rider Zeztz toyline honestly looks really fun and I’m crossing my fingers that it gets some kind of late release in US retailers both because I want to help prove that there is a market for these things over here and also I just don’t want to pay for shipping from Japan.

Kamen Rider 555 is now 5th in my Rider Rankings! What an incredible show! The character drama was really what kept me coming back every episode. The monster design was also really cool and SmartBrain was a valid evil threat. I wish Delta was handled better but having female riders at all is great!
