This is the danger of memes. This right here.

Not trying to stan for banks, obviously, and it's not like banking is easily *accessible* to everyone but lord almighty where the heck are people getting the idea that bank accounts are "expensive"

So many free options. Plus credit unions!
Young men don't open bank accounts. They are too expensive. They download coin base or Robinhood app and buy crypto. That's their savings

If one party pushes that number higher. They vote for em. Gensler/Biden caused those savings to go down. The demo with the biggest change was young men
This is legit the dumbest thing I've ever seen him say

so, see how bernie is passing the torch to the younger generation? see how he's creating space for AOC by using his name, then allowing her to lead? see how SOME older people act like caring elders, and others act like half-dead, out-of-touch narcissistic control freaks?

be more like bernie.

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

When you assume bad things are always done in secret, it can take much too long to realize proclamations of ill intent are serious.

I think this is the hang-up.

The far right likes to say bad apples don’t spoil the whole batch when it comes to police, but they choose to ignore that concept when demonizing all immigrants.

Yes a shutdown would have consequences.

And a Republican President, Republican House, and Republican Senate would be responsible.

They have acted in a unilateral and unprecedented way.

Democrats cannot cave. They must fight back.

I’m saddened to hear about the passing of my former colleague Raúl Grijalva.

He was a tireless advocate for progress and he made Congress and our country a better place.

Mercury Goes into Retrograde

This occurs three or four times per year. Just often enough to blame the planet instead of yourself when things go wrong in your life.

Putin says he agrees to a 30 day ceasefire "with conditions," according to Russian media: We want guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not mobilize, train troops, or receive weapons

WILL HE GUARANTEE THE SAME?
Will US ask Russia for ANYTHING?

The Helix Nebula, 650 light-years away in Aquarius, is a dying star’s cosmic tantrum. Captured by Spitzer, GALEX, and WISE, this planetary nebula glows as its white dwarf core heats expelled gas. Once like our Sun, the star now leaves behind a stunning celestial display.
