I fully agree about the icons, but luckily I think it actually looks really good with the LACRM icon. Our normal one is flat (two colors, no gradients or shadows)

Here's an even better one. What do you think these three buttons are for?

I hate that Reddit seems to be going down the same growth hacking black hole that Facebook did years ago. In what world is it ok to send me this as a push notification? I've been getting more and more of these and don't see a way to turn them off.

I've also felt conflicted, but our only real option is to participate in society.
But that's still not permission to get in on every terrible grift that exists. To me, the US economy has gone from "hold my nose while I participate" to "this is a straight-up scam and I shouldn't be a part of it"

According to Google Search Console, our clicks have been pretty stable over the last year, but the impressions have gone way up over the last few months (so CTR is much lower).
Anyone else seeing this? I assume this is related to changes Google is making and not our site 🤷

Main headwind: The number of people trying the form builder for the first time is decreasing slightly as we saturate our existing customer base. I expect this number to get cut in half long-term (half of these people are new users right now, half are old users). So growth is going to get harder.

Updates on our form builder project:
- Submissions keep going up. We're at ~900/week right now (goal: 1,200/week by July 1st). Slow but steady.
- We redesigned the form and moved the "powered by" link. That change doubled the click-through rate which is a huge win.

Trying to figure out how to incorporate a little bit of AI-generated advice into LACRM without pissing off users. Does AI actually offer an opportunity to promote how awesome our human support is?

In case anyone's curious what support volume looks like for a very support-focused company like us, here it is.
We have a support team of ~8 people, each spending 4 days per week on support (they each spend one day per week on other projects).

lol ok Google. Is this "significant added AI value" in the room with us right now?

Update: Three months later, the chart looks like this. We still have a long way to go (5k submissions/week is the goal) but things are headed in the right direction.
We're also seeing a ~2% click-through rate on the "powered by" link. I *think* 5k submissions * 2% click-through could work!

Pretty wild that Amazon knows this package was lost in shipping and they just don't have any way to address that. None of the "return or replace" options are "I never got this". What a terrible UX.
Note: If you click around enough there is a "replace" option, but it's hidden pretty well

I don't normally like to pick on our government because I mostly think they're doing their best in very challenging conditions.
But my god, they *chose* to take this service down for *two-weeks* during the main time of year when most people would need to use this service? That's clown behavior.

If you have a podcast, I'm sure you get these spam emails from people trying to get interviewed on your show. Now they all seem to be using AI to write the cold emails, and they're *terrible*

For years, I've been talking about building a viral loop into LACRM. We're finally launching a form builder.
It's so different from other features because it's not enough for people to like it, they have to actually use it! We're grinding to activate each user one by one.
Feels like the early days

Just got this email from Twitter. I've *never* gotten an email like this from them before. Feels like what happened from Facebook right before I stopped using it entirely.
Either they just added this, or I'm less active and triggered an existing email. Either way, not a good sign for Twitter.
