Gave this a shot today and got all the way to the OAuth callback after authenticating with my PDS. Something is trying to timeout and can't. I've tried to trace down where exactly this is happening but I'm getting a bit lost. As far as I can tell it's within the oauth-client-expo library?

Mastodon released version 4.5 today, which adds quote posts! @sill.social supports quote posts from day one.

Centrist D66 party provisionally expected to win most seats, but "too close to call" Centrist D66 party is expected to win the most seats in the new parliament, with 28 mandates – up from just nine in 2023, NOS exit poll has showed. Wilders’ PVV is projected to come second at 25, 12 down from 2023. VVD is projected third at 23, GroenLinks-PvDA fourth at 20, and CDA fifth at 19. The exit poll has the margin error of up to three seats, so NOS says it’s “too close to call.”

A quick look at the factors that go into my watchability score:
Factors: 1. Final score differential (lower = better) 2. Number of lead changes (more = better) 3. Maximum lead (lower = better) 4. Score volatility (more changes = more exciting) 5. Overtime bonus (went to OT = very exciting) 6. Comeback bonus (team overcame large deficit to win = exciting) 7. Final minute lead change (ultimate clutch drama)

I'm an NBA fan who now lives in Europe, so I can't watch live. I've been building a silly tool that looks at play-by-play data overnight and tells me what games I should watch in the morning without spoiling them, based on competitiveness. HOU vs. OKC was as good as it gets.

Good news! I've implemented Mastodon quote post support on @sill.social! Note that your mastodon instance needs to be on at least Mastodon 4.4 for Sill to properly ingest quote posts. Here's what it looks like on Sill:

When they won the contest, the Innocent Criminals changed their name to Silverchair. They said that they got the name from hearing a radio caller attempting to request two songs, Nirvana’s “Sliver” and You Am I’s “The Berlin Chair,” but getting the titles all mixed up. If that were true, it would mean that the grunge influence was literally inscribed directly into Silverchair’s band name, along with the influence of You Am I, an Australian alt-rock band that was just one album deep into its run. But it later turned out that they’d made up that story and that they’d really named themselves after The Silver Chair, one of CS Lewis’ Narnia books. I can see why they didn’t want to admit to that. It’s like if a teenage rapper came out now calling himself the Prisoner Of Azkaban or some shit. Lil Captain Underpants.
