Hey @helps.octranspo.com I’m at Tunney’s and the canopy on the bus loop side platform at the bottom of the stairs is still leaking when it rains. I reported it on the other site many months back, still not fixed.

From a few days ago, what a great early evening for a quick lap on the cargo bike with the little guy.

It’s the way to do it. Bike specific infrastructure is only needed on high volume streets. The Dutch don’t put bike infrastructure on regular residential streets and we shouldn’t either.

Love me some bikes allowed in both directions on a one way too. maps.app.goo.gl/oJsobfwUeVPx...

The better garage is the new underground one to the right and down. Look at how bright it is, look at this EPIC stack of OV Fiets ;)

First Cybertruck spotted parked in the neighbourhood …. and of course it’s parked dangerously and illegally.

Operator missed the left on Caring to do the loop at the DND Moodie / Carling campus. He spent a bunch of time pulled over deciding what to do. He did let some people off, but made no announcement before continuing on down Carling.

Yeah, this isn’t good. Both depart at the same time, both run at 30 minute intervals.

8401.2 kms

16 years ago I rode across Canada with a good friend. I still can’t believe we did that.

Not sure what the thought at @oc-transpo.bsky.social was to have the two busses that serve Kanata North business area depart from Tunneys at the same time during the morning peak.

Now I have a 30 minute wait worst case instead of a 15 minute wait if they were staggered.

It’s hostile to users.

And what do you expect prices would be like if those units weren’t built?

Don’t threaten me with a good time!

Boutique parties by definition reduce polarization, because you have more options.

It’s been over three days since the flakes stopped falling and this pedestrian crossing on Preston is unusable for many.

It is for sure. Most shelters I’ve seen look like this.

Maybe deploying a season’s worth of salt saves money because they only need to do it once?

Children’s books often feature detached single family homes or rural settings.

One thing that always stuck out to me about “The Snowy Day” is the casual urbanism.

There are no cars, it’s safe for children to play outside unsupervised, they clear the sidewalks, and he lives in an apartment.

Ottawa’s ain’t bad. Short jaunt on mid-century residential neighbourhood roads and then on to the excellent NCC pathways.
