Seeing people reposting Trump's posts about how Dems should be executed for treason and also seeing all the people making jokes about them. I fully understand the urge, but sometimes I wonder if this is how things will end...

Looking at Avatar: The Last Airbender cards for the new Magic the Gathering set and appreciating how they convey story moments through single cards. BUT that got me fixated on the idea of how to spoil major movie plot twists through Magic cards. #MagicTheGathering

My grindy, black-green Magic deck from the Avatar the Last Airbender set pre-release last night at Meeples Games. Went 1-1-1 with it. I've only seen a couple of episodes of Avatar, so don't have the fondness a lot of people do, but the set itself is surprisingly fun.

Trying out some Posca paint pens for the first time. Spider Punk seemed like a suitable first subject. Chaotic enough to cover up my mess ups. This Spider kills Fascists.

Pet cards! Rather than pet cards, I thought I'd share this fun play pattern from my last game: Cast Reiver Demon and kill all opponents' creatures. Sack Reiver to Dreadfeast Demon (making another Dreadfeast). Next turn, use Oversold Cemetery to put Reiver back in hand. Repeat. Just oppressive. 3/5

This deck's mission is simple: Cast clerics. Sacrifice clerics for value and to summon demons. Smash enemies with demons. If anything dies, reincarnate it. Sort of a dual typal deck but more interested in Satanic vibes than being optimized. 2/5

I only had 12 decks when I started this, but built a deck last week, for Halloween. This all Black Taborax, Hope's Demise deck is trying really hard to be what all Satanic, evil stuff that the Christian Conservatives *thought* Magic was. 1/5

BONUS Day 13: "Satanic Panic"
I only had 12 decks when I started this, but built a deck last week, for Halloween. This all Black Taborax, Hope's Demise deck is trying really hard to be what all Satanic, evil stuff that the Christian Conservatives *thought* Magic was. 1/5

Pet cards! The Commander itself is sort of a pet card. That said, Palinchron has too high of a mana cost of this deck but I'm just showing off that I own it. Same with the foil Mercadian Masques Counterspell. "Approach" isn't really a pet card... more just the only consistent way this deck wins. 3/5

This deck is a pretty straightforward blink/flicker deck. Half the stuff makes cards blink (top row), and the other half delivers pay-offs in the way of Enters the Battlefield effects (bottom row). That said, like most blink decks, it does a *lot* of wheel spinning. 2/5

I realized that I had built every 2-color deck except for White-Blue, so I decided I should correct that. I literally just looked at the Azorius legends in my collection and chose the prettiest card, which is how I picked Kykar, Zephyr Awakener. 1/5

I realized that I had built every 2-color deck except for White-Blue, so I decided I should correct that. I literally just looked at the Azorius legends in my collection and chose the prettiest card, which is how I picked Kykar, Zephyr Awakener. 1/5

Pet Cards! Another deck of pet cards, but still: The Dragonlord Atarka "baby dragon" version is charming. Halana is in there since she's designed to play with Alena (and as a Cascade target). And if you are playing big dummies, they don't get bigger and dumber than Impervious Greatwurm! 3/6
