Look at Tua beginning his throwing motion in comparison to where this ball ends up (I marked it with an X)

Anticipation is off the charts

Tua Tagovailoa has been in the top 8 in total EPA in EACH of the last 3 games on plays longer than 2.5 seconds.

Week 9: 3rd (6.5 EPA)
Week 10: 8th (0.1 EPA)
Week 11: 5th (10.5 EPA)

another example of Miami using Tua's ball fakes (and Achane's fake catch) to try to influence the second level defenders, but the rotation to 2-high and great drop from Kyzir White make this a near INT.

watching Jaylen Wright keep this close to the vest (and try to get inside of Liam's block), then watch him seal off the outside and get vertical so easily is SPECIAL STUFF

not specifically JUST Tua's ball handling, but one thing I've noticed from Miami, specifically on PA toss looks, is how they bluff the catch from the RB.

Check out Achane throwing up the hands as if he's bringing this one in.

seeing tua shuffle-reset by stepping UP off of interior pressure is 100% a point of development. fading back has killed his arm strength in the past. like to see this.

Tua with a little Jason Williams action, which, with the Robert Jones pull and bluff from Washington, attempts to sell just enough to get Wright to the edge.

Miami has shown the exit motion into a quick screen dozens of times on tape, and when you see a pretty big tell (Jonnu Smith in the backfield), it certainly looks like it's coming. Miami uses that to their advantage, combines it with a roll, and flicks it to Julian Hill.

Tua Tagovailoa ball handling thread:

the way Miami clearly teaches ball handling is interesting. Notice the duck further selling the contact on a potential handoff to Achane
