I truly think Severance may be one of the most culturally defining shows of my time. It's the kind of Art that reminds me why I want to be an artist. I truly think Severance may be one of the most culturally defining shows of my time. It's the kind of Art that reminds me why I want to be an artist. The problem with Kanye Is he assigns a much greater value to his art than what actually rings true. Sure, stripping his wife nude uninvited on the Grammys Red Carpet will make headlines for a week. But it has no artistic merit, no cultural staying power. It is NOT good art.

The magic of Taylor Swift is her ability to hold space in this world for women and girls to feel their emotions without reprocussion. Taylor swift is for the little girl who was told she was too much, too loud, too emotional, too outspoken.
Today we went to a Taylor Swift singalong for my best friend’s daughter’s 9th birthday, and it really healed a part of my heart. Friendship bracelets and glitter and air guitaring and heart glasses 🥹🥹 I needed an afternoon of girlhood and whimsy

While some of Swift's experiences are represented within her music diahristically, I always took her songs more as emotional truth's than a chronological retelling. The stories she tells are the mythos of Taylor Swift - the muses, the rawness of her feelings, the literary and cultural inspirations.
My somewhat controversial take about Taylor that could potentially be true and actually be the funniest thing for her to reveal is if the majority of her music (if not all) wasn't even about her life
