Continuation: 2 nights ago, I found him curled up outside in the rain, too weak to even find shelter. I immediately brought him in, but he was so weak the first 24 hours I wasn't sure he was pulling through.
Fast forward to day 2; warm, full & absolutely not going back to his previous owners
