Bit quiet this morning until a Hooded Crow came in for a bumpy landing on a tree top 😺 #FirstBirdOfMyDay The Gulls have since made an appearance!

Thanks, Andrew 😸 Interesting to find these trees and wonder why they were called ‚the Brits’ and then learn some more about Szczecin’s history.

I’d have definitely been in that when I was a kid! I wonder how old it is?

Thanks a lot, Sally!

Here it’s more like a lump of coal that flung itself off the back of a lorry - a Hooded Crow* scavenging on the grey pavement below 😹 #FirstBirdOfMyDay (*I have nothing against HCs, by the way! I have a favourite that comes for entire fat balls 😻)

Like the pattern!

On a grey & snowy morning, Mr Magpie dashing past my window in the gloom was the #FirstBirdOfMyDay. Now watching the Great Tits on the feeders 😺

Ooh, exotic! Here the slightly less glamorous (but no less beautiful, IMHO) Feral Pigeon, circling the trees above the park this morning 😺 #FirstBirdOfMyDay

Espero que podamos saludar al juvenil y a sus padres en Polonia la próxima primavera. Aquí hay algunos grupos de grullas que utilizan el río Odra para llegar a sus zonas de cría.

Another sunny day for you and another grey one for us, unsurprisingly 😹 Have a great day!

I can imagine, LOL 😹 (no offence to your PO, I expect it’s at least functional! 😹)

As dawn breaks on a very frosty morning, I open the blinds to a horde of advancing gulls and corvids heading into town for the daily scavenge 😺 #FirstBirdOfMyDay

We also have the same, but the Common ones are, as their names suggests, the most common here. At the coast it’s the Herring Gulls, Black-Headed Gulls and Lesser Black-Backed Gulls that dominate.

Through the flakes of snow pirouetting their way groundwards, a Common Gull joins them in a wintry dance 😺 #FirstBirdOfMyDay

Still work o’clock for me 😾

Blimey I’d be watching me bits with those razor sharp teeth diving around me nether regions! 😹

Congratulations to the new Mayor and I look forward to hearing about what she does in Copenhagen. (70% for Mayoral elections would be a miracle where I live!)
