Here you can see one of the most seldom recorded behaviors of the common Norwegian rat: singing. Often found on rooftops or high in the trees, these rodents will emit loud melodic tunes across the countryside. However, the exact purpose of this behavior remains a mystery to this day.

Found a dead cicada and the egg it hatched from. Thankfully they were both in good enough condition to pin.
Bizarrely one of only a few insects to emerge from their eggs as sexually mature adults. Be careful of their powerful sting if you see them in the wild!
