But pretty much anything can be compelling with the right treatment. I also didn't expect to see parallels between storyboarding and fashion!

Personally, I've felt similar fear myself, and now that I think about it, I believe a lot of it is due to lack of confidence. "The audience won't want to see X scene, so I need to hurry and show Y scene!" That's a real killer in comics.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense! Is it a bit like connecting the dots, then? That's how it often turns out for me: "how the heck do I get these ideas I want to make sense together?!"

My solution is to use acting to make the rabbit seem like a cocky, arrogant jerk-- basically bully the old man turtle and not even wait for an official start to the race before he hares off on his own.

I always wonder what it's like for you guys that love world building because I have so much trouble with it! From the outside it seems like a good problem to have, but maybe it's a lot rougher on creatives than it seems?

I do think I'll get faster and better at this over time but right now it does feel like opening up my PC tower and painstakingly replacing almost everything in it with new parts lol

Have you ever taken a long break from a skill to work on stuff that's sort of related and in theory will help your original skill but then you have to apply it and you're like ARGH, BUT HOW DO I APPLY IT
