Two different situations completely. No way to compare them, really. I don't believe Harry got what he was promised here and the club certainly didn't want to give him the send off we have seen them give Sonny. Hell, the club wouldn't even let him back into the training ground.

The same statement is true of the Chairman and yet...

There is no one they could appoint that would make me think that. This board is clueless.

Oh yes. I remembered.

They won't. They are chasing power.

The play of Biss in the #6 slot was a huge part of Ange's hot start with Spurs.

His play since is a huge part of the reason Ange may get sacked following the season.

I don't fear the club. I fear the pitch. I remember a certain non-league club taking Spurs to extra time on a synthetic surface.

Does depth matter? Absolutely. But I don't think any PL club would do well with our injury load where we had to make do with 2nd choice or make-shift selections through the heart of the season.

I agree on the creativity point. Even Madders seems to have lost step there.

Other than Man City, who doesn't have a dramatic drop-off when removing 2 CBs, GK, 1st and 2nd choice Striker, LB, and the #10 from the starting line-up? LIV lost to a Championship side with most of their first 11. Even City look a different side without just Rodri.

Yet.

I think we are closer than many think though, after all the experience gained by the young ones this season. A couple of smart acquisitions this summer paired with the inclusion of a couple of the players on loan, and we might have a squad capable of handling the load.

What manager doesn't want to spend on player upgrades?

Yeah, I rarely bitch about the officiating but there were a lot of tough-to-take non-calls today. That takedown of Son was just....SMDH

This Administration has already ceded leadership of the political free world; now we are ceding membership in the economic world.

These things are going to take the US generations to fix. If they can be fixed at all. End/

4. Some countries are making public noises about negotiating with the President. Behind the scenes, they are privately talking with each other about how to move forward without the US. It's exactly what I'd be doing and I'm not nearly as smart as most of them. 7/

It takes too long to plan and do, and too much chance of drastic change in the intervening time. They are going to figure out how to work around this country. 6/

In an interview yesterday, a member of this Administration's economic team (Kevin Hassett) stammered when answering a question about a possible 90-day tariff holiday and the market had a $4T hiccup. Companies are NOT going to relocate manufacturing to a country with this level of uncertainty. 5/

3. Companies can't plan ahead when dealing with great uncertainty. There has never been a more uncertain and unpredictable Administration in our 200+ years of history than the current one. Tariffs are on, then off, then on, then on higher, then off again. 4/

I've worked in the corporate world since I was 25 and every single company has harped on margin. I'd rather be a company with a $100 million in annual sales running a 50% margin than a company with $1 billion in annual sales running a 5% margin. 3/
