I'd echo this, but I'd say mostly understaffed. I've got a lot of contacts and a few friends in NWS and they've been running with less for a hot while, and now it's dramatically getting worse

This type of continued training is imperative to the things we do and for our emergency preparedness skills. Damage Assessment reports help us focus on the areas that are hardest hit after a disaster the faster we can recover, the faster we're back on our feet.

In addition to practicing with Survey123, we also tested our Ham Radios and Repeater, and our internal WhatsApp group. Communication redundancy is critical to operations and the safety of our Volunteers.

Us Volunteers trained on the Survey123 app which is powered by ArcGIS. This means that the city can see reports coming in live or in batches and can overlay important infrastructure data to know exactly what other things might be impacted based on where we're seeing damage.
