taking accountability for the consequences of your actions is good, but blame for the all trauma caused by being unhoused belongs to the flawed, broken, & corrupt systems that exploit people & force them into a nearly inescapable cycle of poverty in order to profit/steal from a permanent underclass

people who are already clearly suffering being reduced to "content" is so fucking dehumanizing

some people just seem to decide one day that they've evolved enough & stubbornly refuse to accept that they exist in a world where the only constant is change

can't even one of the bittersweet echoes like when ronald reagan died, but years too late & after doing a ton of irreparable damage to the country, making the world a worse place to live, & ushering in an era of far-right republican grifters whose goal of a christofascist theocracy is... oh wait...

yes, and these people exist within the venn diagram of:

[fully indoctrinated, lifelong conservative christians with no critical thinking skills who believe they are 'morally superior' and vote for far-right extremist grifters in suits];

[anyone who profits from the prison-industrial complex]

there are far too many people who do look away, whether it is due to ignorance, arrogance, privilege, hubris, apathy, or all of the above, the goddamn fools choosing to ignore or blame the people suffering unnecessary cruelty & preventable deaths in our streets only help to exacerbate the problem

at the same time, the distracted, heavily propagandized masses, under the threat of state violence, are told to look away; just simply ignore the unjust & inhumane treatment, allow the systems that created this unending cycle of poverty continue - lest you want to experience it from the other side

society failed these people, blames them for those failures, dehumanizes them, forces them into a never-ending cycle of poverty created by flawed, oppressive systems designed to keep a permanent underclass to exploit until they are no longer considered useful; inevitably they are cruelly discarded

AND A HEARTY FUCK YOU TO ALLLL THE GODDAMN HEARTLESS BOOTLICKING NIMBYS WHO MAKE THE LIVES OF OUR UNHOUSED NEIGHBORS FAR MORE DIFFICULT THAN THEY NEED TO BE YEAR ROUND BUT ESPECIALLY DURING THE HOLIDAYS
