worth remembering that when Trump announced a travel ban in 2017, people literally went to airports to protest. Eight years later, Trump announces a new one and it's not even front page news.

People like this are why I never buy the argument “it was a different time.” So? We are all personally responsible for becoming more ethical than the society we grew up in.

My daughter’s speech therapist went out of business because Medicaid reimbursement rates were too low. We do not have Medicaid. I’m going to keep posting this until people understand that when Medicaid gets cut *everyone* loses services.

My sister is pregnant in Ireland and I’m relieved she is not pregnant in the US. At 1st I thought that’s a hell of a statement to make and then remembered black women have been feeling like this since the 1600s. It’s too bad white women were too busy being racist to be feminists. #whitewomenfeminism

The reason we do not have universal health care in this country is because then black people would get it. Full stop. We see European countries vote against their safety nets as they become more diverse.

FL has been coasting on their tourist taxes. Not suggesting we boycott all red states, there are some great blue cities to support: New Orleans, Nashville, Austin, ect. But stop going to Fl, Disney ain’t worth the price. They live cheaply knowing you will spend thousands at Disney. #redstateboycott
