Hell, this social media ban doesn't even tackle the real causes behind bullying behaviour. It's a lazy band-aid slapped on a crack while ignoring the huge hole gushing water.

Bring back teaching kids PROPER internet safety instead of just assuming that the internet is inherently a child-safe space. Discourage them sharing personal details about themselves with strangers online.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a surge in not only physical bullying, but also suicides, self harm and attempts in youth.

Also; this is never going to work to keep kids safe because restricting kids NEVER does. It's the opposite, information and knowledge, that does.
