Nostrils flaring at that thought, Goro licks his lips and imagines: What if he had lost himself, let Loki run free and beaten Joker to a bloody mess? If the blood in his mouth was the sweet taste of victory; drawn from Kurusu’s own body by way of knife, teeth and claw? In his head, that smug, cocky look gives way to disbelief, perhaps a bit of fear in those grey doe eyes he hides behind- oh, yes- he finds his body shivers at the thought of Kurusu fearing him. Watching him warily, unsure of what Goro is going to do next now that he has his rival beaten at his feet. By the time Goro has reclined enough to free his already hardening cock, the scene has gone on- Goro has pounced on his rival like a lion after downed prey, licking up the trails of his victory from pale skin while they rut like animals on the ground of mementos. His imagined rival flickers like a distortion, his mind jumping back and forth on which one he desires more in the moment- defeated, trembling Kurusu letting Goro take from him out of his own powerlessness- Goro’s superiority over him obvious; to stubborn, determined Joker deliciously defiant to the end even though the conclusion is inevitable, fighting back on every inch of ground Goro makes in claiming his prize. Regardless of which one it is his mind settles on, they end up in the same place- his rival utterly bared beneath him with the bloody smears and bruises the only splashes of colour on him.

Been having some Ryuji/Goro thoughts in my tumblr drafts (which is part of a longer Ryuji/Goro/Akira thought dump that may or may not ever see the light of day)
"Honestly, a lot of the Akechi/Ryuji side would just be. Goro simultaneously longing for that easy, unconditional affection Ryuji is offering, but also absolutely loathing himself for wanting it at all, and from Sakamoto of all people. And Ryuiji would have to learn not to take Akechi's rejections to heart, his brain is basically one of those animal welfare commercial kittens that's never experienced gentleness before, the only ways he knows how to show affection are all caustic and sarcastic challenges he expects you to not only meet but exceed because that's the only way he's earned attention until the two of them showed up, and he subconsciously repeats it because there's a part of him that wants people to meet them; because despite it all, Akechi is lonely and longing for human connection to people his equal. And Ryuji isn't his equal in intellect, not in grades, not even in power. But he's his equal in rage. In refusing to sit down and take the beating the world is trying to force on you. But he's also his opposite in that Ryuji has somehow, though it all, kept his softness."
