Got a game of WotR down last weekend. I was very looking forward to it coming back from a 3-year hiatus. Fellowship got one of the easiest ring victories as far as my memory goes. Gondor was wiped out, but the evil (first-time player) didn’t gain much ground beyond that

First film i saw after moving to the bay, and it was brilliant. At the time I saw the trailer it felt too revealing, but the film found ways to surprise me. Neither the performance or plot was overdone. It had just the right amount of earnesty and laughs for me.

Tried a learning game of Manila: The Savage Streets 1945. War-themed games always had a vague appeal to me, and it felt good being able to finish some plays.

Learning Ra at home with a three-handed solo game. It’s so fun! The math is kicking in, and decisions feel tight. I wonder if it’s still as fun to play with real opponents because of the compact decision space. Can’t wait to possibly trying it tomorrow

Tried metal tin box Sushi Go Party for the first time last week. The box was way bigger than I thought. I used to look foward to the metal one when I had the Taiwanese version that came in a regular cardboard box. Now I’m not so sure
