And here is the first image Blue Ghost has sent from the lunar surface - some processing done here, dunno if this is the proper orientation but the Sun is low at the Mare Crisium landing site so this would make sense me thinks.

Been a little quiet on here lately, mainly due to heavy duty winter work shifts ✈️, a very expensive 6 night trip to Dubai for some R&R and a half term filled with genius grandsons, on the plus side we’re building LEGO launchpads and racing cars

I really, REALLY can't get over just how beautiful this comet is in our LASCO images! I mean, I've seen more than a handful of comets in this data over the years (~5,200 to be exact - not that I'm counting...) But I've really gotta say... this might be the pick o' the bunch right here. WOW 😱😍☄️☀️🔭

Day 2 of confirmed Shingles: I’ve consumed 7 Aciclovir, 6 Co-codamol, 2 Anadin extra, a whole 750ml bottle of Naked Blue Machine smoothie, watched the rest of Arcane season 2, Ghostbusters and now halfway through Sirius, I do not feel any better knowing this may last 3 weeks or more

Great, nice pre-60th birthday present, left work early just been confirmed by pharmacist I have Shingles, no wonder I was with migraine, aching all the way home yesterday and itching *crawls into bed mumbling chicken soup..

Just got home from my road trip to Bisley, on the way back just before Witney I saw the most horrible light pollution ever, I can only liken it to Zodiacal Light taken on long exposure but this was with my own eyes through driving rain and stupid people’s full beam headlights

So, farewell A3. You never became the Great Comet some predicted - which you were never going to become, most of us knew from the start - but you were a great comet, and although you made me fight and beg for every fleeting glimpse I had of you I enjoyed hanging out with you.
