Restricting the ability to change your gender marker on a passport carries zero applicable benefit. It’s ONLY about terrorizing a small population to acclimatize the public to government attacks on marginalized groups.

A perfect cosplay doesn’t exist. A cosplay I’m proud of does. When perfectionism tries to talk you out if appreciating all your hard work. Not everyone will know who I’m cosplaying, but those who do will be stoked to see a nostalgic or deep cut. When you’re not cosplaying “on trend” It’s okay to say it’s good enough and go to bed. When you’re con crunching and don’t want to do this anymore. There is not a single thing you need to change about your body to cosplay. When you’re hearing toxic and unrealistic discourse around body and appearance in cosplay.

Just had a wonderful dialogue with a group of 2SLGBTQ+ seniors about current issues facing trans people. Many of them are not trans but know full well what it looks like to be scapegoated by society the way trans people are now. Their solidarity and strength was deeply calming in a turbulent time.
