i spent a loooot of time writing python code to compare contents of manuscripts. i also had to do loooots of data entry, c75% from mordek green book, for my code to crunch. i think that if the green book were now availble as some kind of etext, an AI system would prob just save me months of labour

fwiw i loved "persecuting society" as an undergrad, and bought it as a present for my wife @martaherman.bsky.social . she never studied history at all, and loved it on every level, "one of the best books I've ever read in any genre". there weren't many historians of this grade i reckon
