I know lots of folks are posting advice about the culture here, but it pretty much boils down to:

don't be a jerk for no reason.

and if someone is a jerk to you, block them and talk to people who are not jerks.

if you want a site full of fighting jerks, twitter is getting better every day!

because I can't count...

3) if you block someone who quoted you, your post disappears from theirs to be replaced with "user is blocked"

This is the ultimate power move. Watch them scream as their timeline is just a bunch of dunks of nothing. They hate it!
