I am officially—- deeper into my 30s. lol

But hi! I’m Selle, and I love working with my hands to #sculpt and #craft- to truly make things. I work a lot in #polymerclay, resin, and foam for cosplay.
A cluster of charms which appear to be itty bitty bowls filled with ramen. The bowls tip in many directions but the ramen and toppings do not spill out; the viewer can get a good angle on all the miniature ingredients in high detail. Present atop the noodles and broth are pork chasu, soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots and cut green onion. These charms are only about the size of a nickel in entirety, and were made by hand. In a bright space adorned with white lace a cute lounge bag sits; showcasing a charm that hangs off its zipper pull. The charm in focus is a pink violin case adorned with tiny stickers, hanging from a rose gold chain and heart clasp. A pink micro bell and blue and pink glass bead accent the chain, with a second charm hanging towards the top: it’s a letter that says in tiny print, “I love you.” This cluster of charms is referencing the anime series “Your Lie in April”, and one of the main characters, Kaori. A handmade silver chain full of charms dangling from a heart shaped clasp. The main feature is a tiny glass bottle, Tied tight with honey colored thread, the bottle contains three charms of an oddly shaped fungus that resemble caterpillars. Included with it is a mortar and pestle filled with herbs, and the simplified face of a calico kitten. All of these items are in reference to the anime “The Apothecary Diaries”. A set of handmade resin dice atop a leather portfolio, lit by daylight. These dice have dark numbering which shimmers blue, and inside each di rests a bundle of tightly woven deep green vines. These dice vines are adorned with red and yellow small flowers, as well as thorns. Gold bobbles also float in and around the space, like treasures glinting in the bramble. Each bundle of vines first had to be hand sculpted, prior to casting; to say nothing of the sanding and polishing work; these dice took 10’s of hours.

Gummy sharks have arrived! I want to keep making more stock but here’s what I’ve got so far.

Question friends: Sell as sets or separates?

Each casting has a bigger sharkie and two smaller ones meant to be a necklace and earrings; so even when the color varies between pours, they can be paired up.
A pink silicone mat on a work desk with shiny little resin charms all over it. The charms are made to resemble gummy sharks and vary in shades of cyan to ocean blue. Selle has four sets of earrings with matching pendants for each set, and some separates in the back of the frame.

A handmade ita bag charm set. On a heart shaped silver clasp a chain extends with three charms attached. There is a small mortar and pestle with green liquid and herbs in it, a small simplified calico cat face, and a glass bottle which has gold string wrapped over the neck and cork. Inside the bottle are caterpillar-like charms with brown stems; they are tiny replicas of a medicinal fungus given to Mao Mao in the Anime series “Apothecary Diaries”.

Yah know what’s kinda wild? I came across a Reddit post and a FB post which both have no answers but MIGHT be talking about the same film; as the themes seem like they fit together with what little I can remember and the mystery thickens. XD

I was young so not suppose to be watching what I remember: a all girls school, a group of girls are in some kind of cult/witch craft in a room that beneath the school and you can only get there by tunnel. The girl that refuses to join and saves the day is a blonde. The blonde has to literally crawl through a tunnel and at the end the alter catches fire. This was a movie made for tv. It was never in theaters, 1990s” A screenshot of a Reddit post from 2 years ago. The title of the post is long and says, “[TOMT] [Movie] [Horror/Thriller] Movie where a young girl gets cursed by a witch and her irises and pupils disappear making her eyes turn all white and she eventually gets hospitalized and acts crazy” The main body of the post then goes on to say: “I saw this movie when I was 6-7 and I remember it because it traumatized me. I remember it being about a young girl moving with her family into a new home. Then, the little girl walks around the house and gets cursed by a witch (I remember the witch starting to curse the girl when she looked into a glass cup) who eventually makes her irises "fall out" which genuinely traumatized me. The witch does this by doing it to one eye first and then the other eye and the girl is sent to the hospital and understandably the little girl is severely distressed and has a total meltdown (I mean, if my irises "fell out", I would have a total meltdown too). I've tried looking for this movie in the past online but can't find it. Answers are appreciated, thanks.” There were 4 replies to the post but none suggested films successfully. One was a comment that appeared to be on the wrong forum entirely, and the OP replied to it saying as such. Another was a bot posting a link to help people remember the post, should it be solved.

If I don’t count every NPC, I’ve got about 22 OCs that I can remember; wild that none of them specifically came from fandom.😂 I was been inspired by song lyrics for one though!

I almost didn’t check “based on religion or myth” but I think my OC Qilan, an ode to Indigenous cultural stories, counts.
A BINGO card that’s filled with a variety of achievement style statements regarding the reader and their habits around making Original Characters (abbreviated to OC). Things such as “Had at least one Mary Sue” or “Had Fanart Drawn of your OC” are present. The game is to check all the boxes that apply to you and see how many bingo’s you’d get. Selle has a majority of the boxes checked with hearts, but only gets 2 “BINGOS” (5 boxes in a row).

I humbly offer up my Teifling lady, Malice. I’m currently playing her at a table and excited for her growth. She’s a former body guard deep in the anger stage of grief.
A slate purple Teifling woman with the virtue name “Malice”; drawn by Sellesion, this is her current most active D&D player character. She smiles a cocky side smirk toward the viewer, with fanged teeth, black eyes with gold irises, and bloodied knuckles. Malice is from a desert environment, formerly a bodyguard hired by a family of gem traders to keep watch over their young noble daughter. Her clothing is made up of linen wraps, leather accents and gold embroidery, pins and jewelry, to match the status house she served, and the environment they’re from. She herself however is a simple person, whose primary talent has always been using her fists: as such her class is “The Way of Mercy” Monk. Unfortunately, Malice’s inciting incident involved the death of the girl, whom she held dear after years of service. She still struggles with great pain that her specialised ability to heal with her hands was not enough to save her most important person.

I could say several, but most recently.. Malice, my Teifling holy monk, she’s really doing somethin to my brain y’all.

Her story is so unlike my own; she’s religious and lost a daughter. And YET I KEEP crying at the game table.

A handmade resin dice set that has metallic slate blue and glittery mauve purple swirled together with one another. The tiny flecks of silver are reminiscent of stars, accented by iridescent foil flakes that sometime catch the light, dramatically amplifying the purple in some spots, like a nebula in space. Each number has been painted with a dull gold; an allusion to the colors of worship used by followers of the Goddess Shar in D&D and Baldurs Gate 3.

Not literal children featured here, but rather handmade, shiny, miniature sharks. They are cast in blue and white layered resin to resemble gummy shark candies. Selle has been trying to make and refine this idea for quite some time, so they are her artistic brainchild. These are soon to be turned into earrings and other charm based accessories, and more will be made.

I’m excited! I cast these little guys, but they aren’t shiny and smooth like I want. I tried a variety of ways to shine them and they sat on the wayside for a bit.

But now I’ve got some proper polishing abrasive and a pressure pot so I don’t have to struggle with bubbles.
